Ty Hyland, ‎Production Planning Executive of Finance & Strategy at CBC

With over 25 years of freelance industry experience, Ty Hyland has held the positions of Producer, Production Executive, Line Producer and Production Manager on hundreds of hours of prime time TV series and feature length projects. Currently she utilizes her production knowledge working in-house at CBC as a strategist in Production Planning on scripted and digital programming. Ty has extensive experience working on behalf of Production with both broadcasters and funding agencies across Canada ensuring that policy and contractual obligations are properly executed and adhered to.

Ty’s scripted TV credits include:  Insecurity for CBC, Corner Gas for CTV, The Dealership for Global, Little Mosque on the Prairie for CBC, Renegade Press for APTN and Incredible Story Studio for YTV. Feature film credits include; Sins of the Father/Andy Garcia; Held Up/Jamie Foxx; Borderline Normal/Caterina Scorsone and Finn on the Fly /Ana Gasteyer.

Ty is a member of the Director’s Guild of Canada.

Kelly Parascandalo, Vice President, Field Services Shared Services at Bell Canada

Kelly Parascandalo joined Bell Canada in 1992, progressing from clerk through the management ranks in various departments within Bell Canada. Kelly assumed the director position in 2001 and has a wide-range of experience at the director level in a diverse set of departments including Finance, Customer Service, Project Management, Marketing, Information Technology and most recently Operations within Bell Canada’s Field Services Team. She was appointed to Vice President of Shared Services in Field Services in 2014 responsible for leading capital program and contract management, project delivery, strategic planning, business intelligence and our fleet services teams.

Kelly is a York University graduate. She is currently a member of Bell Canada’s Executive Diversity council and is the Executive sponsor of our LGBT Employee Resource group within Bell.

Anne-Marie Vanier, Chief P&C Actuary, RBC Insurance

Anne-Marie Vanier is Chief Actuary at RBC Insurance. In her role, she oversees the of Property Casualty insurance portfolio profitability, balancing revenue growth, risk and capital management.

Her previous experience includes SVP and Chief actuarial positions in personal and commercial property & casualty insurance companies contributing to the development of business strategies, mergers and acquisitions and the operational integration of acquired business.

Anne-Marie holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BSc in Actuarial Science from Laval University. She is also Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Anne-Marie has served as chair of the Facility Association Actuarial Committee and is currently co-chair of the OSFI P&C MCT Advisory Committee and chair of the P&C Industry working group on Economic Capital Models.

With a history of involvement in community and charitable organizations, Anne-Marie nurtures a special passion for children’s mental health issues in addition to diversity and inclusion in regard to the LGBTQ community in the workplace. She is currently Vice Chair of Board of the George Hull Centre for Children and Families and Executive Co-sponsor of the Pride Employee Resource Group at RBC.
