Samra Zafar is a bestselling author of the book, A Good Wife. She’s an international speaker, and the director of business finance at BMO. She is also the founder of a non-profit organization called Brave Beginnings. It is dedicated to supporting abuse survivors in their journey to build a life of freedom. Her story is truly remarkable, and so is her passion for empowering all people to believe in themselves no matter what their circumstances. BMO Financial Group Becomes First Canadian Bank to Sign The UN Women's Empowerment Principles
BMO Financial Group today signed the UN Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact (UNGC). Darryl White, Chief Executive Officer, BMO Financial Group signed the Principles at the Vancouver Main Branch on the bank's behalf. BMO is the first Canadian bank to sign the WEPs.
